1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly when registering or using our Services, including your full name, email address, phone number, and billing information. This information is necessary for creating and managing your account on the LabsChats platform.

Additionally, we automatically collect usage data when you interact with our Services, such as pages visited, features used, access frequency, and navigation patterns. This data allows us to improve the user experience and optimize platform performance.

We also collect information about the device used to access the Services, including browser type, operating system, IP address, unique device identifiers, and connection data. We use cookies and similar technologies to facilitate these collections, as described later in this Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to provide, maintain, and improve our Services, as well as to develop new features that enrich the Client experience. This includes platform customization, usage report generation, and conversational flow optimization.

Your information allows us to communicate with you to send important notifications about your account, service updates, policy changes, and responses to your technical support requests. We may also send you commercial communications about new products or services, from which you can opt out at any time.

We process payment data exclusively to manage billing and collection for the contracted Services. We also use the information to detect, prevent, and investigate fraudulent activities, abuse, or security threats to our platform and users.

3. Sharing Information

We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including hosting services, payment processing, data analysis, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it exclusively for the purposes for which it was shared.

We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, legal process, or government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of third parties. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of such transaction.

LabsChats never sells, rents, or markets your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers with data encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls based on the principle of least privilege, and continuous monitoring systems. We implement technical and organizational security measures in accordance with industry standards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

Despite our efforts, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. We recommend taking additional precautions, such as using strong passwords and maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the platform, including user authentication, session management, and security. These cookies cannot be disabled without affecting service functionality.

We use analytics cookies to collect aggregated information about how users interact with our platform, enabling us to identify areas for improvement and optimize the user experience. These cookies help us understand usage patterns and navigation preferences.

Preference cookies allow us to remember your settings and customized options to offer you a more relevant experience on future visits. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings, although disabling some cookies may limit certain features of the Services.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we have collected about you and to request a copy in a structured and readable format. You also have the right to request the rectification of any personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.

You may request the deletion of your personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, when you withdraw your consent, or when you consider the processing to be unlawful. You also have the right to data portability, meaning the right to receive your personal data in an interoperable format to transfer it to another provider.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, as well as to request the restriction of processing. To exercise any of these rights, you may contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within a maximum period of thirty (30) calendar days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information as long as your account is active and the Services are in effect. Once the subscription is cancelled, your data will be deleted from our servers within a maximum period of thirty (30) calendar days, unless a legal obligation requires its retention for a longer period.

Certain information may be retained in anonymized form for statistical and service improvement purposes, without the ability to identify the Client individually. Billing and financial transaction records will be retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

8. Minors
